

Enrolment
We encourage families to visit our centre prior to enrolment, if possible. Families are welcome to visit anytime from 9 am to 3 pm. An enrolment form can be completed at this time, or download a copy now. Once completed, the form can be returned to the office, mailed to PO Box 327, Wanaka 9343, or faxed to 03 443 7090. Once the completed enrolment form is received, you will be notified whether the times you requested are available or placed on a waiting list.
Prior to starting
- We will need a copy of your child's birth certificate or similar proof of birth.
- We will need to sight immunisation records.
- 20 Hours ECE forms completed for 3 and 4 year olds.
- If your child will be sleeping you must view the sleeping facilities and read the sleeping policy.
- Inform us of any allergies, illnesses or restrictions your child might have.
Fees
- Hourly fee is currently $5.00.
- Session times are from 8:45 am to 12 noon or 12 noon to 3:15 pm or 8:45 am to 3:15 pm.
- We do not have a set amount of hours that children have to attend a week; though for the child's sake of settling in and to maximise their learning we recommend more than one weekly session.
- We operate 43 weeks a year, open one week of each school holidays.
- We offer 20 Hours ECE with proof of birth and completed attestation.
- An optional charge of $1 per 20 Hours ECE applies to each hour used for the period of enrolment or subject to review. This charge allows the Preschool to maintain 100% qualified teaching staff.
- Monthly accounts are provided and families are encouraged to set up automatic payments or direct debits through the internet or bank.

- Depending on your family circumstances you may qualify for a subsidy from Work and Income, refer to their website www.workandincome.govt.nz.
Absences
- It is important to notify the Preschool of any absence as soon as possible
- Five absences will be granted per child per year after which regular fees will apply. This will not apply to term breaks. We must have confirmed bookings for term breaks and any absences will be charged, others will not be charged.
- Once 5 scheduled absences have been used, regular fees will apply. This will not apply to school holidays. We must have prior bookings for these weeks.
- When a child is absent for more than three consecutive weeks, due to Ministry of Education requirements, they must be removed from the roll.
- No fees will be charged for public holidays that fall during term-time, term-breaks or any other forced full day closures.
